An example of a more typical Brazilian "Funk" track,
In typical dancehall style, the music video represents the big ass.
I'm pretty sure thats what the lyrics are about as well.
Anyway besides the pop style acoustic guitar i enjoy this.

Besides the Jewish style dance interludes, I actually quite like this song,
the beat is nice, and very simple.
if you watch the music video with this girl you'll be shocked,
She's very fat and full on, and has actually only two songs,

A very popular style here, it started in the Favelas, originating from actual funk,
but now is completely different, it doesn't relate to real funk at all.
Anyway you have to give them a chance,
Wait for the drop and listen to the rhythms and instruments etc,
Could be interesting to study.

Baiana System are an interesting group,
mixing traditional Brazilian sounds with reggae dub and rap.

Another dance track,
With nice samples and instruments, creating a cool beat
plus with more chanting, it almost sounds of African influence as well.

I like the chanting sample used in this.
A nice mix of sounds and genres.
His english a little rough but sweet because on soundcloud he says
"music from brasil to the globes Xx"

I would describe this as Brazilian dubstep,
Its quite nice and vibe-y, with some house style samples,
you can hear the Rhythm and Sound style beat,
But with a rattle and carnival drum near the end
and voice speaking in Portuguese

This is a really interesting group who create all sounds with their mouths,
(When I first heard the intro i thought it would be a psytrance track)
There are some nice remixes of this song around,
Particularly amusing is the one by CloZee

More resent - a short clip of a the repetitive instrumental.
Another example of beats and sounds.
These guys are a group but also have a "bloco" for carnival.

This was my first favourite Brazilian song when I first moved.
I also like "O Caminho do Bem"
